Engineering Ambassadors 2026
Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers
The Mission
RPI Engineering Ambassadors (EA) is a student-led group of dedicated engineering students who inspire K-12 learners through STEM education. Each presentation we deliver includes an engaging, hands-on activity to encourage students to actively participate in their learning.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, EA is committed to reaching 30+ schools, providing updated presentations and activities, growing and training our membership, and continuing our annual trip to the Bronx. Our outreach spans classrooms in the Capital Region as well as events on campus such as National Manufacturing Day, Exploring Engineering Day, and FIRST LEGO League.
What You’re Supporting
Your support makes it possible for us to:
- Visit 30+ schools across the Capital Region and beyond.
- Provide students with updated presentations and hands-on STEM activities.
- Expand our membership and training so that more EAs are equipped to lead outreach.
- Sustain our annual Bronx Trip, a multi-day visit to Riverside High School and St. Raymond High Schools, where students gain access to meaningful STEM experiences they may not otherwise receive.
We are raising $10,000 from alumni, friends, and family to support our organization’s mission-driven work. Together, we can continue to “Change the Conversation” around who belongs in engineering and inspire students to pursue STEM.
Corporate sponsorships to underwrite outreach and align with our mission for additional benefits are also available. See our sponsorship packet and contact Millat Husain, Engineering Ambassadors Financial Coordinator and Julie Manning, Corporate and Foundation Philanthropy Officer.
Who We Are
Founded in 2011, RPI Engineering Ambassadors has involved more than 250 student members and reached over 80,000 K-12 students through school visits and outreach events. Our mission is simple: to spark curiosity, instill confidence, and show that STEM is for everyone.
With your support, EA will thrive through the 2025–2026 academic year and beyond—continuing to deliver hands-on STEM experiences, develop student leaders, and build stronger connections between RPI, industry, and the next generation of problem-solvers.
