RPISD is a team whose goal is to achieve academic and athletic success. In order to succeed we must work hard in the classroom and the pool. We must also believe in ourselves and our teammates, while remembering to stay positive, laugh, and have fun.
The RPI Swimming and Diving team is asking for your help to purchase Under Armour® Hustle Fleece Quarter Zip Pullovers. These quarter zips will be used as part of our away meet team travel uniform. Currently, the team is supplied with red pullovers that were purchased in 2014. The ability to make new quarter zips available to the team would give the team an updated, cohesive appearance and uniform branding while on the road.
We would also like at this time to raise money for a Total Performance Power Tower. We have found this training device is essential in power and speed development. The current Power Tower we have only accommodates two swimmers at one time. Adding another Power Tower to practice will allow us to have multiple people using the device at one time.
We are asking our alumni, friends, and parents to help us reach our goal of $6,000. Gifts of all sizes will make an impact on our student-athletes by offsetting the general budgetary needs and will make this project a reality. I would also like to take the time to thank you for supporting us in hitting last year’s fundraising goal of $12,000.
Through the generosity of Eric Ren '94 and his wife, Bridget Milot Ren, any current student-athlete donation (up to 250 students) of $5 or more will be matched with $10 towards the team's goal. Also, the top 5 teams with the highest percentage of student-athlete and coaching staff donors will win an extra $500 toward their goal.
You're the BEST! You have made our day--our team truly appreciates you!
You're AWESOME! Wow--your gift will make a tremendous positive impact and we are so happy to have your outstanding support!
