We’re hitting a milestone!
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is celebrating its 50th anniversary—and we’re thrilled that it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the national SWE organization. Since 1975, RPI SWE has built a strong community where women in STEM empower each other and thrive in a historically male-dominated field.

We brought 20 students to the SWE National Conference in Chicago last year. Help us raise that number!
Explore Engineering Day
RPI’s largest student-run STEM outreach event, drawing over 400 elementary school students—completely free for attendees and clubs.
Professional Development
Events with local companies teach key skills and offer networking that gives our members a competitive edge.
Night of Networking
An exclusive dinner during RPI Career Fair week that connects students directly with employers—no cost to students.
Social and Community Events
We’ve had over 100 RPI students attend our community-building events this year!
