Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Rensselaer Men's Tennis team competes at the Division III level within the Liberty League. We are coming off one of the best fall seasons in RPI history. For the first time in school history we have and ITA Regional Singles Champion and All-American, Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez! Sebastian also partnered with Andrew Imrie on the doubles side to earn All-American status! Both Sebastian and the doubles pairing of Sebastian and Andrew represented RPI at the Small College National Championship and boasted impressive 2-1 records. These are all RPI's first wins at this tournament. The duo is ranked #6 nationally and Sebastian is ranked #9. Their current national rankings are also the highest any individual has achieved at RPI. The rest of the team had impressive results as well this fall and we look forward to rolling individual successes into team play this spring!
We are raising funds to pay for spring training, competition, and a trip to Indian Wells. With your contribution, we will be able to expand upon our training time in the early parts of our season, but also help fund our trip to California. We have always prided ourselves on having our students travel for spring trips with no additional cost to them. This year we have expanded our time in the warm weather and the costs of cross country travel have increased. Lastly, our trip coincides with the start of The BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. We are looking to start a new tradition of attending a tournament as a team and have the opportunity to see a new level of play up close!

Through the generosity of Eric Ren '94 and his wife, Bridget Milot Ren, any current student-athlete donation (up to 250 students) of $5 or more will be matched with $10 towards the team's goal. Also, the top 5 teams with the highest percentage of student-athlete and coaching staff donors will win an extra $500 toward their goal.
