WE DID IT!
In only one day we reached out goal- thank you to all our donors. We will continue fundraising to upgrade to "even warmer jackets" and continue to pay our assistant coaches. Thank you for your support!
The RPI Cross Country teams have a long tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the course. We have consistently been competing for and winning Liberty League titles and NCAA Championship qualification, having done so from 2015-2019 for women and 2016-2019 for men. We are working hard to get on the level to chase National Championships and believe we are almost there.
With our goals set on the post season championships it is hard to deny that winter weather will have to be dealt with. The past four years the temperature at race time has been below 30 degrees and as cold as 10 degrees, and we have dealt with snow, rain and wind. We are hoping to raise money this year to buy team issued winter competition gear, including warm jackets for warm-ups plus NCAA compliant tights or half tights, and arm sleeves to race in. This will alleviate any last minute planning for the coaches and athletes and allow us to focus on the task of racing our best and representing RPI at our best.

Through the generosity of Eric Ren '94 and his wife, Bridget Milot Ren, any current student-athlete donation (up to 250 students) of $5 or more will be matched with $10 towards the team's goal. Also, the top 5 teams with the highest percentage of student-athlete and coaching staff donors will win an extra $500 toward their goal.
