Our Teams

The RPI Cross Country teams have a long tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the course. We have consistently been competing for and winning Liberty League titles and NCAA Championship qualification. Highlights from this year include:

The men’s team placed first in the Liberty League for the 6th year in a row with the individual winner, and 5 of the top 6 individuals in the race
The women’s team regained the Liberty League Team Championship and had the individual winner.
Both teams made the NCAA championships. It was the 6th year in a row for the men and 6 in 7 years for the women - men were a program best 9th and the women were 23rd.
Matt Lecky ’23 and Cory Kennedy ’24 earned All-American.
Morgan Lee ’23 and Nia Goddard ’23 became the program's 3rd and 4th All-American, and the first duo, to accomplish this in the same season in program history.
70% of our rosters became members of the Liberty League All-Academic Team, including placement of a total of 27 runners from both the men's and women's teams.
We achieved success during our regular season, including wins at home, Siena, Westfield State and Rowan.
Successfully welcomed new team members to our traditions and culture.

What We Are Raising Money For

We are hoping to raise enough money this year to completely cover our team training trip in preseason this summer, a team tradition for over two decades! Unfortunately, with the rising costs of travel for our competitions, our budget does not cover the total cost of our trip. Training trips create a supportive atmosphere and the belonging that drives our success – your contribution to Let’s Go Red! Cross Country will allow our team to further grow and flourish!
