1967: 50th Reunion

$100,000 Matching Challenge reached by Class of 1967!

The Class of 1967’s 50th Reunion is just a few months away. The Reunion Planning Committee is preparing for an exciting, fun-filled weekend. We hope you will join us on October 12-15, 2017 to catch up with old friends and see what is new on campus.

Rensselaer laid a foundation for our careers by helping us to prepare for real-world challenges. For many of us, we were able to complete our education by receiving financial aid. You now have the opportunity to invest in the next generation of students by contributing to Rensselaer in honor of our Reunion.

Because of the generosity of our classmates, the $100,000 matching challenge set forth by Reunion planning committee member and fellow classmate, Paul McLaughlin ’67, has been met. $100,000 has been raised and matched by Paul in the period from December 4, 2016 until June 5, 2017.

Although the matching challenge has been met, the Class of 1967 overall goal of 50 percent participation and $2 million still has not yet been reached. We need YOUR help to achieve our Class goals in honor of our 50th Reunion!

While we would love to have a large class gift and meet the overall fundraising goal, we are especially interested in donor participation. Donor participation rates are one of the factors that determine how schools are ranked. We hope you will choose to support the Rensselaer Annual Fund, but all gifts to Rensselaer will count toward the class giving total.

There are many ways to support the Annual Fund and our class gift. One-time cash contributions, pledges, multi-year commitments, estate gifts, and bequests all count toward our goal. For more information regarding different ways to give, visit the Rensselaer giving website.

We hope you will join us in supporting our alma mater and we hope to see you next October!
