Thank you for your interest! This project has come to a close. For more opportunities to support Rensselaer students, please visit giving.rpi.edu.
As you make your plans for your future, we ask you to consider a unique way to contribute to our senior class gift if you haven’t already – and receive a commemorative glass flute in honor of our graduation!
If you were able to attend the virtual Zero Year Reunion celebration during Senior Week, we hope you enjoyed the event, and are looking forward to celebrating many more Reunions with your classmates as alumni/ae. If you participated, you will be sent a commemorative glass flute this summer!
For those who were unable to attend, or who would like an additional flute for your collection, we are offering you the opportunity to purchase additional glasses at $10 each. Your purchase of the flute will be counted toward our senior class gift, and help us reach our participation goal!
To make your purchase, select the button with the text "Zero Year Reunion Commemorative Glass Flute" and make a gift of $10 or more.
A Message from the Class President and Class Gift Chair
Dear Seniors,
Welcome to Our Class Gift Website!
We are excited to finally announce our Senior Class Gift with all of you! It took a lot of hard work and searching to find the best one that encapsulates the spirit and passion of the Rensselaer Class of 2021, but we are very pleased with our choice, and we hope you will be as well. This year, our class council has chosen to support the Rensselaer Diversity Initiative Fund. This important fund supports programming and outreach to help expand the diversity of our student body through Admissions initiatives that encourage applications from diverse populations of prospective students.
We are asking all seniors to contribute just $5 each to support our class gift, and help us achieve our goal of 100% participation! Like every class before us, we are carrying on the fun and historic tradition of graduating seniors supporting the next generation of students. With your donation, you are helping not only the class reach our participation goal, but also Rensselaer to expand its diversity. Will you help us reach our participation goal by making a gift today?
Lisa Sulmasy ’21, Class President Luke Trainor ’21, Class Gift Chair
The Rensselaer Diversity Initiative Fund supports initiatives focused on the recruitment of diverse populations of prospective students. The fund ensures visitation opportunities and continues recruiting for diverse populations of prospective students through the Office of Admissions so those students can experience first-hand all that a Rensselaer education has to offer.
Diversity at Rensselaer enhances the student experience and education, by ensuring our students possess the intellectual agility, multicultural sophistication, and global view requisite to successfully addressing the world’s many challenges and opportunities. With a supplemental gift from members of the Class of 2021, the fund will be able to impact more underrepresented minority students in need. Gifts – of any size – to this fund will help make an impact on future students and alumni.
Looking to show your support in a different way? Here are some other suggestions!
If you would like to support something you don't see listed here, please choose "other" on the donation page to designate your gift.
For those interested in making more of an impact on their class gift, seniors who contribute $100 or more will become members of the prestigious Annual Patroon Society at Rensselaer.
Thank you to all of our senior class donors who have already made a gift to the Rensselaer Diversity Initiative Fund or another area of support. Class participation impacts our national rankings, increases the value of your degree, and, just as important, makes a difference for every student at Rensselaer!
