The Class of 1969 looks forward to honoring our time at Rensselaer by making an impact on the lives to students today. This year, we have set an ambitious goal to mark our 50th Reunion: 50 percent participation in giving!  

We know that many of you feel that Rensselaer gave you a solid foundation and helped propel you to success over the span of your career. You can make a difference in the life of a student, and choose to honor your milestone Reunion year with a gift to any of the many funds at Rensselaer. 

Did you know that you can support just about anything that impacts the life of a student directly?  Some examples include, but are not limited to:

• The Annual Fund
• Scholarships
• Student clubs and organizations and the Student Union
• Faculty research
• Athletics:  Each and every team has a fund to support 
• The Rensselaer Alumni Association Scholarship
• The Rensselaer Alumni Association Endowment 
• Any of the "schools" (Engineering, Science, HASS, Architecture, or Lally) 
• The Newman Foundation 
• ROTC
• Fraternity scholarships 
• Or your choice of a host of other possibilities. 

Our class hopes to reach 50 percent donor participation by Reunion & Homecoming Weekend. Each contribution made by a Class of ’69 member from July 1, 2018 to October 31, 2019 will continue to ensure excellence in education for Rensselaer students.

Don't forget, your gift to any of the areas above will still count toward your lifetime giving totals! Helpful hint: If you are 70 ½, give through your IRA with a rollover from your mandatory deduction, or choose to make a gift of appreciated stock, or consider including Rensselaer in your estate plans.
