Class of 1962: 55th Reunion
Time flies. June 8, 1962, is just a distant memory. The Class of ’62 Reunion Committee is now planning our 55th Reunion. We would like, and hope to see, a large turnout by the Class while we still have our memories, and our relatively good health.
If you have not been back lately, you will see a transformation in the campus since we graduated. The Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC), the East Campus Athletic Village (ECAV), and the Center for Biotechnology an Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS) are all new and enhance the atmosphere and majesty of the campus. And there is still even more to see. As an added bonus, October is beautiful in Troy and surrounding areas. You can learn more about Reunion schedules, lodging recommendations & a "who's coming" list by visiting the Reunion and Homecoming website.
All colleges ask their graduates to contribute to the school, particularly during Reunion years. RPI is no exception. We as a committee encourage you to support the students of today. These are bright students whose education is not covered by tuition and who need the support of those of us who succeeded, if at least in part, from the education we received at RPI. The Reunion committee has set a goal of having 62 percent of our classmates give during the Reunion year.
Any gift you give to Rensselaer between July 2, 2016 and October 31, 2017, no matter the amount, will count toward the total percentage, regardless of whether it is designated for a specific purpose or is a general contribution. Currently, we are halfway there. You can help carry us over the goal line by October! If you have questions about giving, please call Institute Advancement at (518) 276-6055.
The Reunion Committee thanks you and hopes to see you in October.
