The Rensselaer Women’s Lacrosse team is a group of highly successful and driven women, both academically and athletically. Over our history, many women have laid the groundwork to create national experiences in the NCAA Tournament (1999, 2012, 2013, 2014). We strive to bring the Rensselaer name and Engineer pride back to that level. We are a program that is on the upswing, and need some help from YOU to continue to build!
Warm Winter-Spring Sideline Jackets!
While we are billed as a “spring” sport, we brave the elements and compete in inclement weather for the duration of our season. We want our athletes to not only be warm, but to also be safe as they take turns on the sideline. They need to have supple muscles, warm cores, and feeling in their hands and feet in order to be able to step on the field and compete. We would like to extend this safety and comfort to every player on the team. The jackets would be shared throughout the team, and would provide us a classy uniformed look on the sideline. We would also like to be able to provide hand and foot warmers for each athlete per game.
You have an opportunity to directly contribute to our team. Your tax-deductible gift will be allocated directly to Women's Lacrosse. Thank you for YOUR consideration in supporting student-athletes. With your help, we will continue to excel on and off the field.
Through the generosity of Eric Ren '94 and his wife, Bridget Milot Ren, any current student-athlete donation (up to 250 students) of $5 or more will be matched with $10 towards the team's goal. Also, the top 5 teams with the highest percentage of student-athlete and coaching staff donors will win an extra $500 toward their goal.
