Thank you to everyone who made a gift to this project! While this round of weR Gold closed June 30, you may still support students with your gift by visiting the Rensselaer Giving website.
“Exploring Engineering Day is an outreach event that is completely free for children in the Capital Region. By supporting this event, you will be helping RPI SWE purchase the supplies needed for children to get hands-on experience in STEM-related activities.” – Samantha Martin
What You're Supporting
Each donation will go towards supplies necessary for the event activities or volunteers. Exploring Engineering Day is free for any child in the Capital Region to attend. This event is hosted by RPI SWE in collaboration with other engineering organizations at RPI to help young children discover different STEM disciplines and help foster their love for learning. This event is entirely supported through donations and fundraising so that any child can learn about engineering regardless of socioeconomics.
We need to raise $6,000 in order to pay for activity and event supplies for participants and volunteers of Exploring Engineering Day.
