Who We Are

This past year has been challenging both academically and athletically for us, and everyone in the Rensselaer community, due to the pandemic. Our team was unable to practice and work out together for over a year. However, although the times were uncertain, our commitment to the team and each other never wavered. We were determined to return back together and stronger than ever. 

Despite the challenging times on and off the field, our team still had several tremendous accomplishments this past season, including the following:

• TEAM 135 tied a school record for wins with an 11-2 overall record 
• The Class of 2022 seniors set a new record for wins by a class with 35
• We won our third Liberty League title in four seasons
• We played in the Division III NCAA playoffs three of our four seasons, including two Elite Eight appearances!
• Sixteen student-athletes were named to the All-Liberty League Football Team
• Thirty football student-athletes earned All-Liberty League Academic honors
• Seven student-athletes were named to the CoSIDA All-District 3 Academic Team
• Five student-athletes were named to the D3Football.com All-Region Team
• Our coaching staff earned Liberty League Staff of the Year and D3Football.com Coach of the Year honors
• We won the Transit Trophy from WPI
• And in dramatic fashion, we won the Dutchman Shoes trophy!

What We Are Raising Money For
